OLM (Organisation Leadership and Management) Diagnostic Goes Live in Business Link South West Region!
The new OLM diagnostic tool has now been implemented throughout the Business Link South West region where key Business Link advisors have received comprehensive on-line training provided by the STAP.co.uk support team.
"We've worked very closely with Business Link Swindon and Wiltshire, together with Business Link West & Gloucestershire, to ensure the content enables them to easily diagnose a company's position in terms of Organisational Leadership and Management development needs" says Francine Heywood, SurveyShack.com Ltd Sales Director. The benefit of this Diagnostic tool is not only the simplicity and efficiency of the online questionnaire format, but the fact that it has been created by industry professionals and is based on both IIP and Management Standards evaluation recommendations, thus ensuring the results are completely reliable".
"We are delighted with the new OLM diagnostic tool" comments Sarah Wearing, Business Link Wiltshire Manager. "Throughout the piloting and evaluation process it was soon obvious this was going to improve our reach to SMEs in our region enormously and with the flexible and effective training program now completed, the implementation has been a breeze".
The diagnostic provides an overview of the development needs for the company, and being a 360-type diagnostic, it can be completed by one or more people from the company being assessed. The results are available immediately upon a respondent completing their questionnaire online and the report template which is provided further simplifies the whole assessment process.

This Months STAP Helpful Tip: 1. Folders Management
When you've completed setting up a new diagnostic, get in the habit of using the folders tools to file this new diagnostic according to your preferences before clicking on the 'commit' button. It will be much quicker to locate should you need to go and add another recipient during the assessment, and for when it comes time to view the results.
2. Making your invitation emails effective.
You get one go at inspiring your invitee to click on the link and respond immediately so the way your invitation email is worded is critical. Think about the subject line firstly. A busy SME manager is always sifting through the highest priority emails so make the subject line stand out. How about: 'Just 2.6 mins of your time Fred' or '2.6 min diagnostic survey - as discussed' perhaps.
The content of the email message has to keep driving the invitee to click on the link and open the survey so again, sell the idea as best you can. Personalising wherever possible is a great way to capture a busy person's attention. One we've seen that has apparently worked well is:
Dear (Invitee),
As you're one of a select group of only 4 who have been chosen by (Main Company Contact) to participate in this business evaluation project, it is essential we have your response within the next 24hrs so all the data can be collated properly.
Please click on this link where you'll simply be asked to click on tickboxes to provide your input. It will only take 2.6 minutes of your time.

This Months CLC Surveys New Idea:
One enquirer recently had a need to monitor room usage as well as gather student feedback. No problem for the CLC Surveys tool! Just add questions requesting which room the respondent was using and the date, then by filtering the results on these two questions in the reporting menu, the rooms used by date are easily reported on. |
